They do take you literally....

Darrin is working nights, so Elizabeth has the girls solo in the morning when getting ready for work. Yesterday morning Cara wanted to stay downstairs while Elizabeth was getting Hannah ready upstairs. Elizabeth told her to "call up and let me know if you need anything." Taking Elizabeth literally, Cara proceeded to yell upstairs every few minutes, "Mama! I don't need anything."
