As if you needed further proof that Darrin doesn't stand a chance in the house with 4 girls (remember, our cat is a girl)....
Darrin was giving my mother a hard time about something as usual. This is the conversation that followed:
Cara: Daddy, quit giving Gram a hard time.
Darrin: I only give people a hard time if I like them. If I don't like them, I ignore them.
Cara (in a sing-song voice): Daddy likes Gram. Daddy likes Gram.
Darrin: Yes, she has a very nice haircut.
Cara: Are you saying Mommy doesn't have a nice haircut?
Darrin did not speak again for quite some time.
