Bye-bye, training wheels!

I'm very pleased to announce that both Cara and Hannah are now riding training-wheel-free bikes.

Hannah, having no fear, learned in less than 30 minutes. She then began riding with one hand and trying to jump curbs.  Darrin took her to the state park to ride the next day and she knocked out 5 miles like it was nothing. (She also fell asleep in the car on the way home.) After being shown videos of Evel Knievel, she then insisted on being called Evel Knievel for the entire weekend. She is also interested in jumping 14 buses with a motorcycle. 

Cara, being more like me, took longer to learn because she was a little scared. However, once it clicked, she fell in love with it. She is going over curbs and down hills like she's been doing this her entire life.
